Let the show (snow?) begin. I always start the season on April Fools Day. It reminds me to take things lightly as I face the 45 day marathon I call “fit-out”. For centuries, captains and crews have gone through this tried less tradition of working around the clock to get the vessel to a state of perfection before the first fare of the season.

Hello, sailors, swashbucklers and landlubbers alike!

I could not have asked for a better season opener. We have officially have been open for a week now and it is hard to believe we are two weeks ahead of normal. It has felt like June temps. The weather is fantastic and the wind has been outstanding.
