What an amazing week it has been! This weather is a phenomenon in and of itself. Crisp blue skies, warm, sunny days--the very essence of summer.

The sailing has been equally as wonderful as the weather. The winds have been varied, so we've had quite an assortment of routes to explore and the seals and porpoises have been coming out to serenade us.

What makes me happy this week is that on almost every trip I’ve had people I know. It really makes you proud as a business owner is to get repeat business. Sometimes it’s hard to know if you’re making an impact. Anybody who runs a small business is happy to see that they’re doing something right.

But first, let's talk about the wonderful Windjammer Parade. We were given a strangely cool and cloudy day, in the midst of all this heavy heat, and it really was perfect weather for the half-day sail that we do to accommodate sailing to Rockland for the Windjammer Parade. We pressed through the fog and burst out into the throng of tall ships—it was an enchanted moment.

The weather right now is truly spectacular—-blue skies, crisp breezes to fill our sails, and warm today, but turning hot over the next couple of days. We couldn’t have custom designed a more perfect holiday weekend! Right now the wind is blowing in the right direction to take us down to see Indian Island Lighthouse in Rockport, which means we get to see two lighthouses on a trip.
