Here I am in Camden, Maine. It’s February 17, 2009 and I have wicked cabin fever. In two weeks I will start fitting out the boat for the next season and I can’t wait. Every winter I sit in my office and plan/ dream about what the next year will bring and I get excited. I just booked nine people today for the 2009 Windjammer Parade. All I could think of was sailing in Penobscot Bay where there were tall ships as far as the eye could see. The parade may be a few months away, but not in my head. I am ready to go sailing.
I know that a lot of people are worried about the economy, but I remain optimistic. Camden, and Maine as whole, has always weathered bad economical times simply because we are a safe, beautiful, and economical Vacation Destination. Camden has great lodging, food, and is friendly. Not to mention, we have the mountains and the sea and a great down town.
While you are here let me take you out for a sail, and let me show you where I grew up, on the bay. I will answer your questions and show you some marine wildlife while we sail by the islands and the lobstermen hard at work. Besides if you’re here we are the #1 of things to do in town according to Tripavisor.com. So come and see for yourself
