In addition to our two hour sails and charters we offer several specialty cruises including our popular Island Lobster Bake sailing trips!
Join us as we sail around Penobscot Bay and through the archipelago of Islesboro. We will then head to Warren Island and dock there for our Traditional Maine Lobster Bake. Explore the island (as well as Warren Island State Park) as the crew prepares a tradition Maine Lobster Bake for you. Lobster Bake trips last approximately six hours, and we depart for our public lobster bakes in the afternoon promptly at 2:30pm. The Olad offers several different public lobster bakes every summer in the months of July and August. Please visit the special events link at the top of the page for upcoming dates. You may also privately charter the Olad or the Owl for your own private lobster bake on beautiful Warren Island. As a private lobster bake charter you would also have the option to leave in the morning for a luncheon lobster bake and afternoon return sail if scheduling allows.
Schooner Olad:
The Schooner Olad can hold up to 22 passengers, but if you have a larger party there are other available schooners in Camden that we can rent for you to add additional passengers. Rates for renting the Schooner Olad for an Island Lobster Bake range in pricing based on menu selection and the amount of people in your group. Please call for more information and availability.
Sailing Vessel Owl:
We also offer Island Lobster Bake trips aboard on our smaller ship, the Sailing Vessel Owl. The Owl can hold up to 6 passengers making it the perfect place to enjoy this special sail with close friends or family. Please call for more information, pricing, and availability.
